Friday night, Mary and I went to the Art Institute to do research by viewing paintings and talking about light sources in paintings and by just soaking everything in.
Earlier today, I shot test footage in the field, down at the lake shore, just south of Addison. I shot video and still pictures.
The Canon Powershot camera that we own(we own TWO of them) shoots really amazingly beautiful black and white video. I need to figure out how to change still pics to black and white.
The Giant Church located just south of Irving Park near the baseball diamonds/golf course/lake shore is AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL and LONELY and DESOLATE and BARREN and PERFECT for use as SOMETHING in the film, quite possibly as my base of operations as the billionaire inventor.
Things are looking up.
